In recent days, some social media users have been sharing the claim that the election technology firm lost its respective lawsuits against Giuliani and Powell.<\/p>\n<p>There is no indication on <a href=\"https:\/\/pacer.uscourts.gov\/find-case\/search-specific-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Public Access to Court Electronic Records<\/a> (PACER) at this time that the election technology firm has lost the two lawsuits.\u00a0Check Your Fact also looked at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/\">CourtListener<\/a>, a website\u00a0from the <a href=\"https:\/\/free.law\/about\/\">Free Law Project<\/a> that has a \u201cfully-searchable and accessible archive of court data,\u201d and found that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/docket\/41955367\/us-dominion-inc-v-giuliani\/\">neither<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/docket\/29090821\/us-dominion-inc-v-powell\/\">lawsuit<\/a> has been dismissed. Both cases are still active at the time of publication, according to court records accessible via PACER and CourtListener.<\/p>\n<p>Giuliani filed a motion to dismiss the case against him April 7, and on May 24, his lawyers filed a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/docket\/41955367\/30\/us-dominion-inc-v-giuliani\/\">reply to opposition to motion<\/a>\u201d to support his motion to dismiss the case. This does not mean the case has actually been dismissed. Dominion Voting Systems\u2019 lawyers have not yet responded to the motion, records from PACER and accessed by CourtListener show.<\/p>\n<p>In a similar move, Powell\u2019s lawyers also filed a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/docket\/29090821\/40\/us-dominion-inc-v-powell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reply to opposition to motion<\/a>\u201d to support her asking the court to dismiss the firm\u2019s lawsuit against her May 24. Dominion Voting Systems\u2019 lawyers have not yet responded to this request either, information from PACER shows.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/12\/22\/fact-check-joe-bidens-brother-in-law-own-dominion-voting-systems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does Joe Biden\u2019s Brother-In-Law Own Dominion Voting Systems?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dominion Voting Systems\u2019 website has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dominionvoting.com\/legal-updates-learn-how-we-are-defending-dominion\/\">page<\/a> with updates on the legal actions the company has taken in the aftermath of the 2020 election, including the lawsuits against Giuliani and Powell.
