S\u00f8rensen, a virologist, is chair of pharmaceutical company, Immunor, which developed a coronavirus vaccine candidate called Biovacc-19. \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Now, Dalgleish and S\u00f8rensen have authored a new study, which concludes that \u2018SARS-Coronavirus-2 has no credible natural ancestor\u2019 and that it is \u2018beyond reasonable doubt\u2019 that the virus was created through \u2018laboratory manipulation\u2019. \u2026 Dalgleish and S\u00f8rensen claim that scientists working on Gain of Function projects took a natural coronavirus \u2018backbone\u2019 found in Chinese cave bats and spliced onto it a new \u2018spike\u2019, turning it into the deadly and highly transmissible SARS-Cov-2. One tell-tale sign of alleged manipulation the two men highlighted was a row of four amino acids they found on the SARS-Cov-2 spike.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>S\u00f8rensen told the Daily Mail that the four amino acids all have a positive charge, which is \u201cextremely unlikely\u201d to occur in nature.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe laws of physics mean that you cannot have four positively charged amino acids in a row,\u201d Dalgleish told the Daily Mail. \u201cThe only way you can get this is if you artificially manufacture it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The scientist\u2019s remarks about the four amino acids match remarks made by Fang Chi-tai, professor at National Taiwan University, who gave a lecture about the row of four amino acids.<\/p>\n<p>New York Magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/article\/coronavirus-lab-escape-theory.html\">reported<\/a> [<strong>emphasis added<\/strong>]:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"17\">\n<p><em>And late in the month, a professor at National Taiwan University, Fang Chi-tai, gave a lecture on the coronavirus in which he described the anomalous R-R-A-R furin cleavage site. <strong>The virus was \u201cunlikely to have four amino acids added all at once,\u201d Fang said \u2014 natural mutations were smaller and more haphazard, he argued. \u201cFrom an academic point of view, it is indeed possible that the amino acids were added to COVID-19 in the lab by humans.\u201d<\/strong> When the Taiwan&nbsp;News&nbsp;published an article about Fang\u2019s talk, Fang disavowed his own comments, and the video copy of the talk disappeared from the website of the Taiwan Public Health Association. \u201cIt has been taken down for a certain reason,\u201d the association explained. \u201cThank you for your understanding.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i><span>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
