Former President Donald Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/11\/22\/donald-trump-administration-military-transparency-treaty-russia-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">withdrew<\/a> the U.S. from the treaty in November 2020, an action Biden called \u201cshort-sighted\u201d at the time. While the attack began early in 2020, it was not discovered until the final weeks of Trump\u2019s administration. The task of reprimanding Russia for the attack as well as its aggression toward Ukraine has now <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/15\/joe-biden-sanctions-russia-putin-solarwinds-hack-department-treasury\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fallen to Biden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Both the U.S. and Russia have <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/20\/biden-ambassador-russia-john-sullivan-putin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recalled<\/a> their <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/17\/russia-ambassador-biden-putin-killer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ambassadors<\/a> from their respective embassies in Washington and Moscow for consultations on how to proceed with diplomacy.
