While speaking on the Senate floor Monday, he criticized Democrat leadership for trying to jam a bill regarding China through Congress.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The threats posed by China\u2019s growing strategic capabilities and influence are real. But there&#8217;s robust debate about how to meet them. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@POTUS<\/a> has proposed to cut defense spending after inflation.
