It\u2019s not that complicated, people. It\u2019s not nuclear physics. All you have to do is get the damn vaccine,\u201d Behar continued, and despite CDC guidance to the contrary, advised people to continue to wear masks inside even if they were fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat is the complicated problem here with people? I don\u2019t understand. This is just to own the libs? Maybe they\u2019re not seeing enough on television the way people suffer when they get this disease,\u201d Behar went on to say that people lined up to get the polio vaccine after seeing images of kids in iron lungs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was like, oh my God, I don\u2019t want to be in there. Get me that shot. Everybody is getting it. You\u2019re not owning the libs by not getting the shot. Nobody is growing an extra arm, nobody\u2019s growing an extra head. Everybody is fine. It\u2019s the people not taking it who are not fine,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, I\u2019ve said it a million times on this show. The messaging is absolute garbage coming from Fauci,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/06\/meghan-mccain-dr-fauci-life-after-coronavirus-vaccine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">McCain<\/a> pushed back, arguing that there were a lot of complicated reasons that people might be hesitant to get the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s still a lot of hesitancy in the African American community. A nurse I know who actually was administering vaccines said that her daughter wouldn\u2019t get it because she was worried about fertility issues. This is something I keep hearing a lot,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/03\/meghan-mccain-covid-19-rules-cdc-control-science-pandemic-messaging-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">McCain<\/a> continued. \u201cI believe the science. I believe it\u2019s healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think, again, the White House and the CDC has done a terrible job,\u201d McCain went on to argue that Behar\u2019s suggesting that people would avoid the vaccine to \u201cown the libs\u201d was not a productive argument.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of people of color have every right to be skeptical of the government. They have been burnt for generations by various \u2014 how should we put it \u2014 policies,\u201d Behar pushed back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not saying they aren\u2019t \u2014\u201d Meghan tried to object but Behar interrupted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExcuse me. I\u2019m not done,\u201d Behar said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRepublicans have reasons to be \u2026 When you come on the show and say we\u2019re \u2018owning the libs,\u2019 it\u2019s factually inaccurate about the demographics,\u201d McCain argued.<\/p>\n<p>Behar continued to insist that most of the people refusing the vaccine were getting their information from Fox News hosts like Sean Hannity, and she and McCain proceeded to talk over each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExcuse me.
