The caption claims it shows Harris \u201cjust about to board the green screen,\u201d suggesting the vice president staged boarding a plane. In the photo, the black Converse-like shoes on one of the people\u2019s feet are circled in a seeming attempt to reference Harris\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/culture\/career-politics\/a34017303\/kamala-harris-converse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">penchant<\/a> for wearing such shoes on the campaign trail.<\/p>\n<p>Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found that the image does not show Harris staging the boarding of an airplane. It instead shows a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kalpenn\/status\/859965227059879937\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">behind-the-scenes photo<\/a> tweeted by actor Kal Penn in 2017, well before Harris became vice president. In <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kalpenn\/status\/859965227059879937\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">his tweet<\/a>, he indicated it was taken on the set of the TV series \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/80113647\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Designated Survivor<\/a>,\u201d of which Penn was a <a href=\"https:\/\/abc.com\/shows\/designated-survivor\/cast\/kal-penn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cast member<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"6.4925373134328\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Here\u2019s what it looked like to film this scene. For example, pictures available on Getty Images depict the vice president doing so <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/vice-president-kamala-harris-waves-as-she-boards-air-force-news-photo\/1231954464?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">March 26<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/vice-president-kamala-harris-boards-air-force-two-at-midway-news-photo\/1311176142?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">April 6<\/a>.
