The violence has moved into day 10 and while the White House has refrained from giving much information on de-escalation efforts publicly, it has said its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/politics\/watch-live-white-house-press-secretary-jen-psaki-holds-briefing-15\">pushing<\/a> \u201cquiet and intensive\u201d diplomacy.<\/p>\n<p>Monday\u2019s call between the two leaders marked the first time Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/17\/joe-biden-ceasefire-israel-benjamin-netanyahu\/\">expressed support<\/a> for a ceasefire, although he has not outright called for one.
