The NCAA<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-arkansas-bans-transgender-females-from-womens-sports\"> <span>threatens<\/span><\/a><span> to pull games from states that pass legislation to protect women\u2019s sports. Razor companies<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/daily-wire-cofounder-rips-harrys-razors-for-dropping-advertising-over-misalignment-of-values-screw-harrys\"> <span>drop<\/span><\/a><span> advertising from conservative programs over a single LGBT complaint. Every instance brings a storm of bad press that leaves everyday citizens fuming. Yet little changes, and the storm passes, quickly supplanted by some new outrage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>But earlier this week, City Journal\u2019s Rufo proved it <\/span><i><span>is<\/span><\/i><span> possible to face-off with a left-wing corporate agenda and win.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>After Rufo reported on<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/disney-training-documents-insist-america-founded-on-systemic-racism-tell-employees-to-reject-equality\"><span>documents<\/span><\/a><span> Disney employees had leaked to him regarding the company\u2019s anti-racism training, the Mouse House first insisted he was mischaracterizing their program. Undaunted, Rufo<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/disney-media-distorted-internal-training-documents-that-push-thoughts-on-systemic-racism-advantage\"><span>hit back<\/span><\/a><span>,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realchrisrufo\/status\/1391801029587456000?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1391801029587456000%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Fdisney-media-distorted-internal-training-documents-that-push-thoughts-on-systemic-racism-advantage\"> <span>detailing<\/span><\/a><span> the pains he took to describe the \u201cReimagine Tomorrow\u201d initiative and place its requirements like, \u201cRecognize\u2026the ways in which the pandemic is disproportionately affecting the Black community\u201d and \u201cDo not question or debate a black colleagues\u2019 lived experience,\u201d in context.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In short order, Disney folded. Within 24 hours of Rufo\u2019s revelations, the company<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/disney-quietly-removes-anti-racism-training-from-website-after-insider-leaks-documents-to-reporter\"> <span>removed<\/span><\/a><span> the program and all related documents from its internal portal. How was Rufo able to put a notch in the \u201cW\u201d column? The key, he told the Daily Wire in an exclusive interview, is shining a blinding, specific light on woke practices that previously went hidden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Because so many are afraid to come forward for fear of reprisal, Rufo says average Americans need leaders willing to speak up on their behalf. Disney employees told him they first reached out to him because of their \u201cawareness of his reputation for leading the fight against CRT without fear\u201d and his \u201cdemonstrated track record of getting things done.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And when Disney tried to question his reporting?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThat strategy failed miserably, [because]\u2026The documents that I exposed were so outrageous and divisive, the company was forced to act.\u201d Without having primary source documents that he was able to lay bare to the world, it\u2019s unlikely Disney would have backed down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Rufo was also happy to share his revelations with other media outlets, taking his reporting to Fox News\u2019 Tucker Carlson. That, he says, \u201cled to tens of millions of media impressions and an immense backlash against the company.\u201d He adds that he hopes that Disney will take a long hard look at their programs in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Rufo\u2019s final lesson for Americans who would not see their country fundamentally transformed? \u201cFight back.
