Morphew also told investigators that he had <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/04\/paterson-new-jersey-voter-fraud-indictment-alex-mendez-michael-jackson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fraudulently<\/a> cast a ballot for his wife in 2020 to help Trump win reelection, according to The AP.<\/p>\n<p>According to an arrest warrant, Morphew claimed his wife would have supported Trump in the election, The AP reported.<\/p>\n<p>Morphew was arrested on May 5 in connection to the disappearance of his wife Suzanne, FOX 21 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox21news.com\/top-stories\/barry-morphew-charged-with-murder-arrested-in-chaffee-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>. Suzanne disappeared on Mother\u2019s Day, May 10, 2020, and is presumed dead, although her body has not yet been found, according to FOX21. The ballot was suspicious because it did not bear Suzanne\u2019s signature, while Morphew had signed as a witness, The AP reported. At that point, Suzanne had been missing for around five months. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/04\/paterson-new-jersey-voter-fraud-indictment-alex-mendez-michael-jackson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: 2 City Councilmen Indicted For Mail-In Voting Fraud)<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents asked Morphew about the suspicious ballot back in April, the affidavit said. He allegedly told them he filled out and sent in the ballot \u201cJust because I wanted Trump to win,\u201d The AP reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just thought, give him another vote,\u201d Morphew told the FBI agents, according to The AP.<\/p>\n<p>Morphew claimed he \u201cdidn\u2019t know you couldn\u2019t do that for your spouse,\u201d when asked if he knew that this activity was illegal, The AP reported.
