The company suspended all operations since the attack, but on Thursday issued a statement saying operations have resumed.<\/p>\n<p>The company said it \u201chas made substantial progress in safely restarting our pipeline system and can report that product delivery has commenced in a majority of the markets we service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan said he expects shortages to get worse over the next two days, writing on Twitter: \u201cWhile the Colonial Pipeline is restarting, the outage numbers may drift higher over the next 48 hours before then beginning to fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De Haan, though, had a shorter timeline than Bloomberg. \u201cAbout 7-14 days of headaches if you need fuel in GA, NC, SC or VA.
