And if anyone in this crew does it, that\u2019s it \u2014 and you too and you too. And you, don\u2019t you ever f**king do it again,\u201d he reportedly said. \u201cThey\u2019re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf**kers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s it. No apologies. You can tell it to the people that are losing their f***ing homes because our industry is shut down,\u201d he shouted.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.empireonline.com\/movies\/news\/tom-cruise-dangerous-stunt-motorbike-mission-impossible-7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Empire Magazine<\/a>, Cruise clarified that he was not yelling at the entire movie crew \u2014 only a select few people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said what I said,\u201d Cruise told the outlet.\u00a0\u201cThere was a lot at stake at that point. But it wasn\u2019t my entire crew. I had the crew leave the set, and it was just select people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cruise noted that filming was \u201cnever shut down again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll those emotions were going through my mind,\u201d he said. \u201cI was thinking about the people I work with, and my industry. And for the whole crew to know that we\u2019d started rolling on a movie was just a huge relief. It was very emotional, I gotta tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While celebrities from Whoopi Goldberg to George Clooney defended Cruise\u2019s rant, actress and famed Scientologist defector Leah Remini claimed they were all been duped by a publicity stunt. \u00a0Writing in the anti-Scientology blog <a title=\"(opens new window)\" href=\"https:\/\/tonyortega.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"external-disclaimer\" data-ylk=\"subsec:paragraph;cpos:3;elm:context_link;itc:0\" data-rapid-parsed=\"slk\" data-rapid_p=\"6\" data-v9y=\"1\">The Underground Bunker<\/a>, Remini called Cruise\u2019s tirade a \u201cpsychotic rant\u201d from an \u201cabusive person.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-list-component yr-content-list-text text\" data-rapid-cpos=\"1\" data-rapid-subsec=\"paragraph\" data-rapid-parsed=\"subsec\" readability=\"37\">\n<p>\u201cTom does not care about the families of his crew; this is all for publicity,\u201d Remini wrote. \u201cTom does not believe in family values. I mean, how anyone is falling for this is just mind-blowing. I would bet that Tom had this rant written for him and had his Scientology assistant record and release it. Hearing a rich actor with enormous power address his crew in this way is a sign of weakness and a deeply troubled person.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cTom seems to think that Hollywood is incapable of making films without his help. Saying such a thing indicates the godlike figure Tom believes he is, and what he is told by Scientology,\u201d\u00a0Remini continued. \u201cThe reality is, anyone who is working in Hollywood today is working under strict COVID guidelines. Anyone who is working knows this. Tom Cruise is not dictating how films are being made, even if he seems to think so.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-list-component yr-content-list-text text\" data-rapid-cpos=\"6\" data-rapid-subsec=\"paragraph\" data-rapid-parsed=\"subsec\" readability=\"32\">\n<p>Remini even asserted that the rant showed the true Tom Cruise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content-list-component yr-content-list-text text\" data-rapid-cpos=\"7\" data-rapid-subsec=\"paragraph\" data-rapid-parsed=\"subsec\" readability=\"39\">\n<p>\u201cHe is an abusive person. I witnessed it, I\u2019ve been a recipient of it on a small level, and I\u2019ve been told of similar abuse by his former girlfriend, his employees, and his friends,\u201d Remini wrote. \u201cThis is the real Tom.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content-list-component yr-content-list-text text\" data-rapid-cpos=\"8\" data-rapid-subsec=\"paragraph\" data-rapid-parsed=\"subsec\" readability=\"41.288433382138\">\n<p>\u201cThis is not just a guy in the middle of a public place standing up to someone for not wearing a mask.
