North Korea has reported zero total coronavirus cases and deaths, the World Health Organization database <a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.who.int\/region\/searo\/country\/kp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">showed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would be a great offer but there is no way that Kim Jong Un would ever accept them,\u201d Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Vipin Narang told CNN. \u201cThere would be paranoia about what would be delivered by the US and there is also the possibility that China could be providing vaccines quietly to North Korean elites.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration has reportedly attempted to continue diplomatic relations with North Korea, but has been <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/14\/north-korea-ignores-biden-administration-communication-requests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">repeatedly ignored<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. remains steadfast in its goal to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/10\/10\/us-urges-nuclear-negotiations-north-korea-kim-jong-un-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">denuclearize North Korea<\/a>, State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Jalina Porter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/biographies\/jalina-porter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told reporters<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n<p>South Korean President Moon Jae-in affirmed that establishing peace with North Korea is a high priority moving forward, Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/asia-pacific\/skoreas-moon-says-looking-nkorea-response-peace-talks-2021-05-10\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>. Moon will participate in a White House summit on May 21 with President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will consider the remaining one year of my term to be the last opportunity to move from an incomplete peace toward one that is irreversible,\u201d Moon said on Monday, according to Reuters. \u201cNow, the time for long deliberations is also coming to an end.
