Jordan, actresses and singers Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga and tennis star Serena Williams, collaborated on a video to push a seal for buildings called the \u201cWELL Health-Safety Seal,\u201d which is offered by a group called the International WELL Building Institute.<\/p>\n<p>Although the celebrities insist that the seal indicates the building is more safe, tiny print at the very end of the video states, \u201cAchievement of the Well Health Safety Rating does not guarantee that a space is safe or free from pathogens. You should adhere to local laws and public health guidelines when indoors\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/05\/08\/robert-deniro-among-celebs-shilling-well-health-safety-seal\/\">The New York Post<\/a>,\u00a0the project received $108 million from Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team owner Jeff Vinik, Hong Kong developer Sino-Ocean Land Holdings, and Bill Gates-owned management firm Cascade Investment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want to get back to your favorite places and feel confident they have put your health and safety first \u2014\u201d\u00a0Lopez starts.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan continues, \u201cLook for the Well Health and Safety Seal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Richard Carmona, a former Surgeon General of the United States who ran as a Democrat in an unsuccessful bid for the Arizona seat in the United States Senate, then states, \u201cI\u2019m Dr. Richard Carmona. This is the Well Health and Safety Seal, from the International WELL Building Institute, the global authority and healthy buildings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul Scialla, the founder of the International WELL Building Institute, asserts, \u201cThe Well Health Safety rating was informed by years of research and input from hundreds of leading virologists, public health experts, epidemiologists, and building professionals around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Well Health Safety Seal means that we\u2019ll feel better going into restaurants,\u201d Lady Gaga states.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheaters, stores, hotels,\u201d Lopez chimes in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStadiums and all the places that we love,\u201d Jordan adds.<\/p>\n<p>De Niro says, \u201cEverything may look the same, but the WELL Health-Safety Seal means that your health and safety are top of mind when it comes to \u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCleaning and sanitizing procedures,\u201d the video continues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAir and water quality management,\u201d Williams intones.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan: \u201cEmergency preparedness programs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd health services,\u201d adds the video.<\/p>\n<p>Lopez: \u201cSo look for the \u2018WELL Health-Safety Seal\u2019 outside.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lady Gaga: \u201cAnd feel more confident going inside.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Companies must comply with at least 15 of 22 COVID-19 standards to get the seal.\u00a0\u201cMany of the requirements are not exactly lofty, and some are already mandated by law,\u201d the Post notes. \u201cNothing is verified by on-site inspectors.
