Dow Jones estimates had been for 1 million new jobs and an unemployment rate of 5.8%.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/live-blog\/2021-04-30\/u-s-employment-report-for-april?utm_source=twitter&#038;cmpid%3D=socialflow-twitter-economics&#038;utm_content=economics&#038;utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&#038;utm_medium=social\">BLOOMBERG<\/a>: The numbers are out, and on the top line they are way worse than expected.
