While speaking to reporters on Monday, Biden failed to say when the majority of the U.S. population would likely be immune to the \u201cvirus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked by a reporter when he believes the U.S. will reach herd immunity, Biden answered: \u201cI think by the end of the summer, we\u2019ll be in a very different position than we are now. As you know, I\u2019ve worked very hard to make sure we have over 600 million doses of vaccine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden has attempted to steal credit for the vaccines from President Trump on multiple occasions, after which he tried to discredit the concept of herd immunity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a debate into what constitutes herd immunity,\u201d Biden claimed. \u201cIs it 70% of the population? Is it 68%? Is it 81%?
