The bishops could potentially demand the president and other pro-abortion politicians no longer take Communion.<\/p>\n<p>Warsaw specified the various means by which Biden has already defied the Church with his policies, such as issuing an executive order that that rolled back prohibitions on U.S. taxpayer funding of foreign abortions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe move flouted repeated reminders from the U.S. bishops about how his pro-abortion commitments conflict with the Church\u2019s clear teaching about this preeminent moral issue of our time, as well as Pope Francis\u2019 repeated warnings about \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecatholicthing.org\/2019\/05\/02\/modern-forms-of-ideological-colonization\/\">modern forms of ideological colonization<\/a>,\u2019 including the exportation of a progressive agenda against the unborn,\u201d Warsaw wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the stroke of a pen, our nation\u2019s Catholic president forced his fellow Catholics, and other Americans who abhor abortion on the grounds of their faith-based belief in the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death, to violate their consciences by making them complicit in funding the international abortion lobby,\u201d Warsaw continued.<\/p>\n<p>Warsaw went on to call out Biden for his \u201cstridently pro-abortion appointees to senior administration posts,\u201d such as\u00a0Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, who \u201c[overturned]\u00a0the HHS\u2019 prohibition on Title X health-care funding being directed to organizations that are involved with abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also of concern to Warsaw is Biden\u2019s apparent support for all aspects of the LGBT movement, including its most radical elements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlong with facilitating destructive \u2018gender-reassignment\u2019 medical procedures \u2014 including for minors \u2014 and compromising women\u2019s sports by allowing competition by biological males who identify as female, legal scholars warn that Biden\u2019s policies will inevitably transgress against the conscience rights of Catholics and others who reject gender ideology,\u201d wrote Warsaw.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile concerned Americans have been ignored, Democratic progressives and the mainstream secular media have been heaping praise upon Biden\u2019s first 100 days,\u201d Warsaw later wrote. \u201cBut the president\u2019s aggressive and highly partisan mode of governance flagrantly contradicts the central promise he made in his inaugural address \u2014 to govern as a unifier, not a divider.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related<\/strong>: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/a-unique-problem-u-s-catholic-bishops-may-demand-biden-other-pro-abortion-politicians-stop-taking-communion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u2018A Unique Problem\u2019: U.S. Catholic Bishops May Demand Biden, Other Pro-Abortion Politicians Stop Taking Communion<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
