Rufo. \u201cGovernor Brad Little signed the bill into law, which will prohibit schools from promoting race essentialism, collective guilt, and neo-segregation. A historic win!\u201d<\/p>\n<div readability=\"73.934074877916\">\n<p>The bill, sponsored by Republican state Rep. Carl Crabtree, \u201cprevents educators from making students \u2018affirm, adopt or adhere to\u2019 belief systems that claim individuals of any race, sex, ethnicity, religion or national origin are responsible for past actions done by members of the same group,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/nptelegraph.com\/news\/national\/govt-and-politics\/idaho-governor-signs-nondiscrimination-education-bill\/article_38697a51-a6bc-5f95-94f0-fb55eb2c9290.html\">reported<\/a> The North Platte Telegraph. It also prohibits educators \u201cfrom forcing students onto belief systems that claim a group of people as defined by sex, race, ethnicity or religion are inferior or superior to others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The legislation, in part, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/idaho-senate-passes-bill-could-be-1st-state-banning-critical-race-theory-in-schools?target_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Fidaho-senate-passes-bill-could-be-1st-state-banning-critical-race-theory-in-schools%3Futm_source%3Dfacebook%26utm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_campaign%3Dbenshapiro\">states<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"46\">\n<p><em>No public institution of higher education, school district, or public school, including a public charter school, shall direct or otherwise compel students to personally affirm, adopt, or adhere to any of the following tenets: That any sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin is inherently superior or inferior; That individuals should be adversely treated on the basis of their sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin; or that individuals, by virtue of sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin, are inherently responsible for actions committed in the past by other members of the same sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>No distinction or classification of students shall be made on account of race or color. \u00a0No course of instruction or unit of study directing or otherwise compelling students to personally affirm, adopt, or adhere to any of the tenets identified in paragraph (a) of this subsection shall be used or introduced in any institution of higher education, any school district, or any public school, including a public charter school.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Calling the bill a \u201cpreventative measure,\u201d Crabtree said, \u201cIt does not indicate that we have a rampant problem in Idaho. But we don\u2019t want to get one.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), during his rebuttal speech to President Joe Biden\u2019s address to Congress on Wednesday, spoke out against critical race theory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, kids are being taught that the color of their skin defines them again \u2014 and if they look a certain way, they\u2019re an oppressor,\u201d Scott <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/tim-scott-shreds-joe-biden-in-rebuttal-speech-biden-is-tearing-us-apart-after-promising-to-unite-nation\">told<\/a> the nation. \u201cFrom colleges to corporations to our culture, people are making money and gaining power by pretending we haven\u2019t made any progress at all, by doubling down on the divisions we\u2019ve worked so hard to heal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know this stuff is wrong,\u201d the Republican asserted. \u201cHear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It\u2019s backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination.
