In a statement Wednesday, attorney Robert Costello said the devices and documents that were seized from his home were \u201cfilled with material covered by attorney-client privilege.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Feds raided Rudy Giuliani&#8217;s Manhattan home and office &#8220;at dawn&#8221; Wednesday in search for electronic devices, his attorney Bob Costello confirms in lengthy statement. <\/p>\n<p>Costello claims the devices are &#8220;replete with material covered by the attorney-client privilege.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/M9mqvYHNtK\">pic.twitter.com\/M9mqvYHNtK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Chris Sommerfeldt (@C_Sommerfeldt) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/C_Sommerfeldt\/status\/1387481160910004229?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 28, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Costello also highlighted the \u201ccorrupt double standard\u201d by the White House as well as the DOJ\u2019s failure to go after the real problem, which points to Hunter Biden, his father and the millions of dollars in bribes they took from Ukrainian businessmen.<\/p>\n<p>The former New York City mayor\u2019s son, Andrew Giuliani, also spoke out by publicly denouncing the move as \u201cdisturbing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnybody, any American, whether you were red or blue, should be extremely disturbed by what happened here today by the continued politicization of the Justice Department,\u201d Andrew Giuliani said. \u201cThis is disgusting. This is absolutely absurd. And it\u2019s the continued politicization of the Justice Department that we have seen and it has to stop. If this can happen to the former President\u2019s lawyer, this can happen to any American.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Rudy&#8217;s son Andrew Giuliani: &#8220;Any American, whether you are red or blue, should be extremely disturbed by what happened here today, by the continued politititation [sic] of the Justice Department.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/W2llUUFNZG\">pic.twitter.com\/W2llUUFNZG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Recount (@therecount) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/therecount\/status\/1387500953167962112?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 28, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Andrew added, the Justice Department should be independent of politics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEnough is enough,\u201d Andrew said. \u201cThe only piece of evidence that they did not take up there today was the only piece of incriminating evidence that is in there. And it does not belong to my father. It belongs to the current president\u2019s son.
