Jenner\u2019s grown sons Brandon, Brody and Burt, \u201cdon\u2019t feel she\u2019s qualified for the position and they strongly believe she shouldn\u2019t be mounting a campaign,\u201d TMZ reported.<\/p>\n<p>Three weeks ago, Burt, Jenner\u2019s oldest son, said on Facebook he had deleted the app in order to \u201cstay away from political discussion,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/caitlyn-jenner-son-burt-deletes-social-media-siblings-embarrassed-california-governor\">Fox News<\/a> reported, adding, \u201cJenner, a Republican, also filed paperwork to seek the governorship and\u00a0has hired several well-known Republican operatives to guide her burgeoning campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jenner\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/caitlynjenner.com\/\">website<\/a> boasts \u201cI\u2019m in!\u201d and states:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11\">\n<p><em>California has been my home for nearly 50 years. I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could rturn their dreams into reality. But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cDavid Badash, editor of an LGBTQ-oriented news and opinion site called The New Civil Rights Movement, noted that Jenner\u2019s campaign website outlined no policy positions and offered two options to those visiting the site: \u2018Shop\u2019 and \u2018Donate,\u2019\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/feature\/nbc-out\/lgbtq-activists-not-excited-caitlyn-jenner-s-campaign-governor-n1265356\">NBC News<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, Jenner <a href=\"https:\/\/rapidcityjournal.com\/news\/local\/caitlyn-jenner-urges-veto-of-south-dakota-transgender-bill\/article_0dc0877b-8a93-5175-9a9b-a83168237fb9.html\">urged<\/a> then-South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard to veto a bill requiring transgender students to use bathrooms and locker rooms matching their sex at birth. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newschannel5.com\/news\/national\/caitlyn-jenner-urges-veto-of-south-dakota-transgender-bill\">News Channel 5<\/a>\u00a0reported: \u201cJenner urged her Twitter followers on Monday to tell Daugaard to reject the measure and to not make South Dakota the first state to adopt such a law. She also tweeted a link to an American Civil Liberties Union page opposing the bill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In October 2018, Jenner, who had previously supported former President Trump, broke with him over transgender issues, saying Trump had \u201cignored our humanity. He has insulted our dignity.\u201d\u00a0Jenner wrote in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/caitlyn-jenner-i-thought-trump-would-help-the-lgbtq-community-i-was-wrong\/2018\/10\/25\/3c4cd61e-d86a-11e8-83a2-d1c3da28d6b6_story.html\">The Washington Post<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"17\">\n<p><em>The reality is that the trans community is being relentlessly attacked by this president. The leader of our nation has shown no regard for an already marginalized and struggling community. He has ignored our humanity. He has insulted our dignity. He has made trans people into political pawns as he whips up animus against us in an attempt to energize the most right-wing segment of his party, claiming his anti-transgender policies are meant to \u201cprotect the country.\u201d This is politics at its worst. It is unacceptable, it is upsetting, and it has deeply, personally hurt me.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Believing that I could work with Trump and his administration to support our community was a mistake.
