The Left would LOSE THEIR MIND.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/wETIeSx8K0\">pic.twitter.com\/wETIeSx8K0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ian Haworth (@ighaworth) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ighaworth\/status\/1386741625733488644?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 26, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/kamala-harris-book-given-to-migrant-children-in-welcome-packs-admin-claims-they-didnt-know-reports\"><span>The Daily Wire<\/span><\/a><span> reported on Saturday that, \u201cA book that [Harris] wrote in 2019 is allegedly being given to migrant children as part of welcome packs that they are receiving at one facility.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHarris\u2019 children\u2019s book Superheroes Are Everywhere is included in welcome packs for migrant children arriving at the Long Beach Convention &#038; Entertainment Center, a recently converted influx facility, along with basic hygiene supplies and clothing, photographs show,\u201d Fox News <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/kamala-harris-southern-border-migrant-kids-veeps-book\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>. \u201cA White House official told Fox News Harris wasn\u2019t aware of the welcome packs, and that these kinds of efforts are usually organized by members of the community.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe report noted that the Department of Health and Human Services did not respond to requests for comments about who was paying for the books. A White House official <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/copy-kamala-harris-book-childrens-shelter\"><span>claimed<\/span><\/a><span> to the Washington Examiner that the book was part of a citywide donation effort to collect books and toys for the children and that Harris did not know about it. The Daily Mail <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-9507373\/Kamala-Harris-book-included-welcome-packs-unaccompanied-migrant-children.html\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span> that the facility at which the book was found can hold up to 1,000 children at a time,\u201d added The Daily Wire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Doocy\u2019s line of questioning comes as pressure builds on Harris who, despite being tasked with leading the efforts to address the ongoing migrant crisis, has not visited the southern border in over 30 days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c<\/span><span>It has been 30 days since President Joe Biden announced he would be tasking Harris with leading the diplomatic efforts to stem the migration. At a White House immigration meeting on March 24, Biden said Harris would lead the administration\u2019s efforts with Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras to both curb the current flow of migrants and implement long-term strategies that would address the root causes of migration,\u201d <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/kamala-harris-slammed-going-30-days-without-visiting-border-crisis-intensifies-1586034\"><span>Newsweek<\/span><\/a><span> reported on Friday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>When asked in late March whether she had plans to visit the border, Harris laughed and said \u201cnot today.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"11.185929648241\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Do you have plans to visit the border?<\/p>\n<p>HARRIS: Hahahahaha!
