However, those involved with the Trump administration\u2019s historic Operation Warp Speed, which produced a vaccine in record time, say that Biden deviated little from what the prior administration was doing in regards to vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so tired of the continuing lies that @potus inherited a #COVID19Vaccine mess, when in fact 99% of current vaccine manufacturing and distribution is EXACTLY as planned and explicitly described by Trump Administration\u2019s Operation Warp Speed,\u201d former HHS Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Brett Giroir, the federal official overseeing coronavirus testing efforts, wrote on Twitter earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut support for his $2 trillion infrastructure package slips to 52%, as does his rating for handling the economy; and he has just 37% approval for his work on the immigration situation at the U.S.-Mexico border,\u201d ABC News added. \u201cMore broadly, 53% express concern that Biden will do too much to increase the size and role of government in U.S. society. Relatedly, 40% see him as \u201ctoo liberal,\u201d more than either of his most recent Democratic predecessors at 100 days \u2013 Barack Obama, 33%, and Bill Clinton, 26%. (This rose for Obama later in his presidency.)\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden promised to unite the country, but Republican leaders in Congress, including Senate Minority Leader <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/senate\/544694-mcconnell-says-he-and-biden-arent-talking\">Mitch McConnell<\/a>\u00a0(R-KY) and House Minority Leader <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/sunday-talk-shows\/550155-gop-house-leader-says-bidens-first-100-days-were-bait-and-switch\">Kevin McCarthy<\/a>\u00a0(R-CA), have said that they have not talked to or met with Biden.
