(Photo by BRENDAN SMIALOWSKI\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re a good family,\u201d he continued, \u201cand they\u2019re calling for peace and tranquility no matter what the verdict is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s comments mark the first time the administration has spoken, however briefly, about a forthcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/19\/derek-chauvin-trial-judge-peter-cahill-maxine-waters-comments-appeal-suggests-trial-could-be-overturned\/\">verdict<\/a> in Chauvin\u2019s trial. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/19\/joe-biden-derek-chauvin-trial-verdict-psaki-minnesota-george-floyd\/\">White House press secretary Jen Psaki<\/a> has repeatedly declined to answer questions about the federal government\u2019s coordination with the state of Minnesota to prevent violence should Chauvin not be found guilty, but both she and the president have urged protesters not to resort to violence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ll come back with a verdict, and we\u2019re not going to get ahead of those deliberations.
