He has been a co-host of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/shows\/the-five\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Five<\/a>,\u201d a show featuring Fox News personalities discussing current events, since the show aired in 2011, The New York Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/12\/26\/business\/media\/the-five-rises-on-fox-news-in-glenn-becks-shadow.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now, an April 14 Facebook post alleges Williams has been fired from the show.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/01\/25\/fact-check-fox-news-joe-biden-president-400000-americans-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Fox News Report That \u2018Joe Biden Has Been President For Nine Hours And 400,000 Americans Are Dead\u2019?)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Contrary to this claim, Williams appeared on the April 19 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox.com\/the-five\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">episode<\/a> of \u201cThe Five\u201d after having been absent from the show the previous week.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/person\/w\/juan-williams\">His biography<\/a> on Fox News\u2019 website still has him listed as a political analyst for the network and a co-host for \u201cThe Five.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Williams also includes his position at Fox News in the bio section of both his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheJuanWilliams\">Facebook<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheJuanWilliams?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\">Twitter<\/a> account.&nbsp;Check Your Fact searched the network\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/press.foxnews.com\/press-releases\/\">press releases<\/a>, as well as its <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=Juan%20Williams%20(from%3AFoxNews)&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">social<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/page\/15704546335\/search?q=juan%20williams&amp;filters=eyJycF9jcmVhdGlvbl90aW1lOjAiOiJ7XCJuYW1lXCI6XCJjcmVhdGlvbl90aW1lXCIsXCJhcmdzXCI6XCJ7XFxcInN0YXJ0X3llYXJcXFwiOlxcXCIyMDIxXFxcIixcXFwic3RhcnRfbW9udGhcXFwiOlxcXCIyMDIxLTFcXFwiLFxcXCJlbmRfeWVhclxcXCI6XFxcIjIwMjFcXFwiLFxcXCJlbmRfbW9udGhcXFwiOlxcXCIyMDIxLTEyXFxcIixcXFwic3RhcnRfZGF5XFxcIjpcXFwiMjAyMS0xLTFcXFwiLFxcXCJlbmRfZGF5XFxcIjpcXFwiMjAyMS0xMi0zMVxcXCJ9XCJ9In0%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">media<\/a> posts, but found no announcement of Williams being fired.<\/p>\n<p>When NPR terminated Williams\u2019 contract in 2010 after comments he made on Fox News\u2019 former show \u201cThe O\u2019Reilly Factor,\u201d including saying he got \u201cnervous\u201d when he saw people in \u201cMuslim garb\u201d boarding airplanes, media outlets such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2010\/10\/npr-fires-juan-williams-043951\">Politico<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/nation-world\/sns-viral-video-juan-williams-npr-htmlstory.html\">The Chicago Tribune<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2010\/SHOWBIZ\/10\/21\/npr.analyst.fired\/index.html\">CNN<\/a> reported on it.
