Here are four key examples of times Waters has arguably incited violence for political gain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. At the \u201cKeep Families Together\u201d rally in 2018, Waters encouraged supporters to harass Trump administration cabinet members.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a protest against Trump\u2019s immigration policies, Waters appeared to call for the harassment of members of Trump\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them,\u201d Waters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/uncovering-maxine-waters-full-2018-speech-democrat-celebrated-kicking-and-stepping-on-donald-trump\">told<\/a> the audience. \u201cAnd you tell them they\u2019re not welcome anymore, anywhere.\u201d<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Maxine Waters @ Keep Families Together: Protest Rally and Toy Drive\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-1Fu3g1MGHY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. She reinforced calls for Democrats to \u201cbe more forceful, more confrontational\u201d against the Trump administration.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Waters doubled down on her rhetoric shortly after the \u201cKeep Families Together\u201d protest. Rather than denouncing violence, the congresswoman told MSNBC\u2019s Joy Reid \u201cthe people\u201d want to see that type of action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, people do want to see us be stronger and more forceful and to confront them on these policies and I\u2019m hopeful that even Democrats, having seen the kind of outpouring of protests over 700 incidents of protest this weekend, seeing that, they will be more forceful, more confrontational and more prepared to push back on this administration,\u201d the congresswoman said. \u201cI think that the people are showing them this is what they would have us do.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"7.8974358974359\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In an interview w\/ Joy Ann Reid, Rep. Waters then doubled down on her call to be \u201cmore confrontational\u201d w\/ Republicans <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/SnXfHc6hJg\">pic.twitter.com\/SnXfHc6hJg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tom Elliott (@tomselliott) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tomselliott\/status\/1347531660749844481?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 8, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>3. Waters referred to the Rodney King riots in 1992 as a \u201crebellion.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/if-maxine-waters-was-a-republican-she-would-have-been-impeached-decades-ago\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported, Congressman Waters led a \u201cno justice, no peace\u201d chant during the Los Angeles riots. Instead of referring to the violence and destruction as riots, she referred to them as a \u201crebellion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you call it a riot it sounds like it was just a bunch of crazy people who went out and did bad things for no reason,\u201d Waters said. \u201cI maintain it was somewhat understandable, if not acceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Even worse, she defended black residents that looted Korean-owned stores, which bore the brunt of the riots\u2019 damage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were mothers who took this as an opportunity to take some milk, to take some bread, to take some shoes\u2026 They are not crooks,\u201d Waters said at the time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. As Chauvin trial concludes, Waters said Americans need to \u201cdemand justice\u201d in the George Floyd trial.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Waters once again called for supporters to be \u201cconfrontational\u201d and \u201cdemand justice\u201d for the death of George Floyd as the Chauvin trial draws to a close, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/democrat-maxine-waters-on-if-derek-chauvin-is-acquitted-get-more-confrontational-on-the-street\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, we\u2019ve got to stay in the street, and we\u2019ve got to get more active, we\u2019ve got to get more confrontational, we\u2019ve got to make sure they know that we mean business,\u201d the congresswoman told reporters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking for a guilty verdict. We\u2019re looking for a guilty verdict. And we\u2019re looking to see if all of this [inaudible] that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd,\u201d Waters continued. \u201cIf nothing does not happen, then we know, that we\u2019ve got to not only stay in the street, but we\u2019ve got to fight for justice, but I am very hopefully that I hope that we\u2019re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. And if we don\u2019t, we cannot go away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking for a guilty verdict. We\u2019re looking for a guilty verdict. And if we don\u2019t, we cannot go away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When a reporter asked if Chauvin should be charged with anything on top of manslaughter, she said it should be \u201cmurder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh, no. Not manslaughter,\u201d Waters said, holding up her arms. \u201c[He] is guilty for murder. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s in the first degree, but as far as I\u2019m concerned, it\u2019s in the first degree.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Waters doesn\u2019t plan on staying in Minneapolis to protest, she said she hopes \u201cthe protest will continue.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"7.4873949579832\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">WATCH: Rep.
