(Photo by Al Drago\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 2:30 PM PT \u2013 Friday, April 16, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>It has now been more than three weeks since Kamala Harris was tapped to address the migration crisis at the southern border, and she still has not held a formal press conference.<\/p>\n<p>Reports on Thursday said not only has she not spoken with reporters, she still hasn\u2019t spoken with the leaders of the Northern Triangle countries she claimed to be focusing on.<\/p>\n<p>She also recently said she has no plans to visit the southern border. However, Harris did say she\u2019ll be traveling to Mexico and Guatemala \u201cas soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It has been 3 weeks since President Biden appointed VP Harris to oversee the border.
