Tyler Hardy-Croskey faces a charge of possession of child pornography. Parents were notified last night. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KPRC2?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@KPRC2<\/a> is working to gather more details.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Brandon Walker (@KPRC2Brandon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KPRC2Brandon\/status\/1383076114080358410?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 16, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>The school is part of the Humble Independent School District and is located roughly 23 miles north of Houston.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The school\u2019s principal notified parents of the arrest, according to Click 2 Houston. <\/span><span>\u201cMr. Tyler Hardy-Croskey, an 8th Grade U.S. History teacher, was arrested early this morning by Houston Police at his home,\u201d a statement said.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHe is facing a charge of possession of child pornography. He will not be on campus. The charge is being addressed through the court system. Humble ISD works in cooperation with law enforcement for the safety and well-being of all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The statement also urged anyone with information regarding the case to contact the school district\u2019s police.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Days before Hardy-Croskey\u2019s arrest, a teacher at a Dallas elementary school was also charged with possession of child pornography.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Kevin Rayo, a first-grade teacher at Lakewood Elementary School, allegedly was in possession of numerous images showing an adult male engaging in sexual intercourse with children as young as three. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/13\/dallas-independent-school-district-teacher-kevin-rayo-child-pornography-arrest\/\"><b>(RELATED: First-Grade Teacher At Texas Public School Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>In West Virginia, a former middle school <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/08\/sergio-garcia-new-york-school-teacher-arrested-rape-teenager\/\"><span>teacher<\/span><\/a><span> was charged with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wdtv.com\/2021\/04\/06\/police-more-than-100-child-pornography-videos-found-on-bridgeport-mans-social-media-account\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">distributing child pornography<\/a><\/span><span>&nbsp;after officials say they found several thousand sexually explicit images of minors on his Facebook account.
