It\u2019s all for her family. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MPAo3ZE7JK\">pic.twitter.com\/MPAo3ZE7JK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 #1 #SNOWFALLFX FAN IN LIFE (free Melody) (@VanLathan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VanLathan\/status\/1382874774695600129?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 16, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>\u201cSo it\u2019s not about having money per se, or about property per se, but it\u2019s about there being a potential contradiction between your expressed politics and your lived practice,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSure, and I think that is a critique that is, um, wanting, and I say that because, um, the, the way that I live my life is in direct support to black people, including my black family members, first and foremost,\u201d Cullors responded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The co-founder of Black Lives Matter then continued to state that many \u201cblack folks\u201d invest in their family, and her purchases are indicative of her doing the same and \u201csupporting\u201d various family members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd, for so many black folks who are able to invest in themselves and their community, they choose to invest in their family, and that\u2019s what I have chosen to do. I have a child, I have a brother that has severe mental illness who I take care of, I support my mother, and I support many other family members of mine,\u201d Cullors continued.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo, I see my money as not my own. I see it as my family\u2019s money as well,\u201d she concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Cullors first <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/06\/25\/blm-co-founder-describes-herself-as-trained-marxist\/\"><span>described<\/span><\/a><span> herself as a \u201ctrained Marxist\u201d in 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c<\/span><span>We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories.
