She held up two photos, one showing a bright yellow taser and the other showing the black service weapon. Police said that former officer Kim Potter mixed up her taser and her service weapon when she fatally shot Wright during a traffic stop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cY\u2019all see the difference,\u201d Naisha Wright continued. \u201cThis is a taser. But no, my nephew was killed with this. A Glock.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>20-year-old Daunte Wright was killed Sunday during a traffic stop. Body camera footage from the incident showed Wright breaking away from police who were trying to detain him and getting into the driver\u2019s seat of his car. Former officer <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/14\/champlin-police-brooklyn-center-kim-potter-home-daunte-wright\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kim Potter<\/a> yelled \u201ctaser!\u201d several times before fatally shooting Wright.<\/p>\n<p>Potter <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/13\/kim-potter-tim-gannon-resignation-daunte-wright\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">resigned<\/a> from her position Tuesday along with Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon. She now faces <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/14\/kim-potter-daunte-wright-pete-orput-second-degree-manslaughter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">charges<\/a> of second-degree manslaughter.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting sparked protests and riots that have gone on for several days in Brooklyn Center. Some nights, rioters clashed with police and threw rocks and bottles at them before being met with tear gas and rubber bullets.
