We won in the Supreme Court in New York against The New York Times for defamation, and now we\u2019re going to go ahead and sue Twitter for suspending my account and falsely and maliciously claiming that I did something that I did not do,\u201d O\u2019Keefe said in response to host Sean Hannity\u2019s questions about the lawsuit. <strong><a class=\"text-black\" href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/15\/project-veritas-cnn-charlie-chester-black-lives-matter-asian-attacks\/\">(RELATED: \u2018A Bunch Of Black Men Have Been Attacking Asians,\u2019 CNN Tech Director Appears To Say In Veritas Video)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Keefe and Project Veritas is currently involved in an ongoing lawsuit against The New York Times, Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/trump-congratulates-project-veritas-new-york-times-lawsuit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter, in a statement provided to the Daily Caller, explained that O\u2019Keefe\u2019s account was \u201cpermanently suspended for violating the Twitter rules on platform manipulation and spam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Project Veritas was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/02\/11\/project-veritas-permanently-banned-twitter-deleting-tweets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">previously banned<\/a> from Twitter in February.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not lose \u2026 We can\u2019t afford to lose. We\u2019ve never lost a lawsuit,\u201d O\u2019Keefe stated before adding that the complaint would be filed on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey did this after we released all of these bombshell recordings into CNN showing them calling themselves propaganda,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty extraordinary timing, but there are fundamental principles here we have to fight for, and I\u2019m confident we\u2019re going to create an army of people that are going to follow in our footsteps.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have no other option, so we are suing Twitter on Monday,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project Veritas founder James O\u2019Keefe announced Thursday on Fox News\u2019 \u201cHannity\u201d that he\u2019s suing Twitter following the banning of his account by the social media giant.
