During his weekly press briefing Thursday, McCarthy focused heavily on the crisis at the southern border by drawing attention to the record amounts of illegal immigrants, fentanyl and terrorists coming into the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome of the stories that are coming back are very alarming,\u201d McCarthy stated. \u201cOne member told me a story: Just last week, they went on patrol at night where they apprehended some illegal immigrants. You\u2019d believe she would want to solve it. There has been no legislation that changed, it was only [Biden] himself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Republican stated this is one of the biggest issues facing the U.S. and the Biden administration needs to step up to the plate.
