(Johanna Geron, Pool via AP)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 9:37 AM PT \u2013 Wednesday, April 14, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited Brussels to try convincing NATO\u2019s ally countries to withdrawal from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>During his visit Wednesday, Blinken met with NATO Secretary General Jen Stoltenberg to discuss the alliance members\u2019 future in the region. He said neither the U.S. nor NATO has plans to desert the region despite the impending withdrawal.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Productive meeting with NATO Secretary General <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jensstoltenberg?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@jensstoltenberg<\/a> today where we discussed Afghanistan and Ukraine.
