(AP Photo\/Julio Cortez)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 8:27 AM PT \u2013 Wednesday, April 14, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Amid continued inaction from the White House, the Mexican government is working to put an end to the Biden border crisis.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said the country has deployed at least 12,000 officials to the southern border to help deal with the surge in migrant arrivals. He also confirmed they are also sending security personnel to the country\u2019s border with Guatemala.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It has been 3 weeks since President Biden appointed VP Harris to oversee the border.
