Scott Applewhite\/AP Phot0)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 11:13 AM PT \u2013 Tuesday, April 13, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has been shaming Joe Biden for his bait-and-switch bipartisanship.<\/p>\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SquawkCNBC\/status\/1381947656029794305\">interview<\/a> Tuesday, the California lawmaker was asked about the recent talks. McCarthy criticized the proposal while pointing out how there\u2019s not much infrastructure in it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it was an infrastructure bill, Republicans would be at the table ready to go,\u201d he stated. \u201cUnfortunately, President Biden doesn\u2019t believe in talking to any Republicans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Republican then took aim at Biden\u2019s calls for so-called bipartisanship after McCarthy\u2019s repeated attempts to set up a meeting to address pressing issues and not just the latest Democrat wish list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never spoken to him since he\u2019s been president,\u201d said the minority leader. \u201cI\u2019ve requested meetings with him to talk about the border, he ignores that.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Biden\u2019s \u201cinfrastructure plan\u201d doesn\u2019t prioritize American people it prioritizes a far-left agenda. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2ZODxxL91K\">pic.twitter.com\/2ZODxxL91K<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 GOP (@GOP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOP\/status\/1378423059816841216?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 3, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>His comments come as the Biden administration faces scrutiny over attempts to label their spending spree as infrastructure just to get it passed in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think America is stronger when we work together, I think America is stronger when we solve problems,\u201d McCarthy continued. \u201cThe way we solve problems is we sit down at the table, we identify them and we work together.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>MORE NEWS: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/nikki-haley-i-will-not-run-in-2024-if-president-trump-is-a-candidate\/\"> Nikki Haley: I will not run in 2024 if President Trump is a candidate<\/a><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy speaks with reporters at the Capitol in Washington, D.C.
