Recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2021\/04\/online-gamer-pretending-to-be-white-house-reporter-infiltrates-psaki-press-briefings\/\">reports<\/a> detailed the persona of Kacey Montagu, a fake profile used by an unknown person to infiltrate the White House press corps.<\/p>\n<p>Montagu has posed as a fellow reporter who was unable to be in the Brady Briefing Room due to COVID protocols and restrictions.&nbsp; According to reporting by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2021\/04\/09\/lego-gamer-infiltrated-white-house-press-480673\">Politico<\/a>, Montagu is most likely a ROBLOX user and part of the online community that jokingly calls its users \u201cLegos.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Some quotes:<\/p>\n<p>Imposter reporter \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FoxNews?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@FoxNews<\/a><br \/>Like lego, Kacey Montagu fell apart \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Independent?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Independent<\/a><br \/>Lego \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/politico?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@POLITICO<\/a><br \/>Gag Persona \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Mediaite?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Mediaite<\/a><br \/>Fictitious \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/YahooNews?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@YahooNews<\/a><br \/>Montagu\u2019s scheme to transparency \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@BreitbartNews<\/a> <br \/>internet-savvy user \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BusinessInsider?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@BusinessInsider<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kacey &#8216;Lego&#8217; Montagu (@SecMontagu) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SecMontagu\/status\/1381043670682591233?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 11, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At least four times in recent weeks, press corps members have passed questions along on behalf of Montagu to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Most recently, she was asked about&nbsp; Joe Biden\u2019s relationship with former President Obama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs today\u2019s print pooler, I\u2019m going to ask an inquiry for myself [and] one of my colleagues who can\u2019t be here because of COVID restrictions: How involved is former President Obama and First Lady Obama in the Biden-Harris administration?\u201d&nbsp; questioned Chris Johnson of the Washington Blade. \u201cIs President Biden seeking to bring back the often bipartisan portrait unveiling events at the White House?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"04\/08\/21: Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LTjGUQpToSc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m certain we will have bipartisan unveiling events at the appropriate time when COVID allows,\u201d Psaki answered. \u201cIn terms of his engagement with President Obama, they are not just former colleagues\u2026but they also remain close friends.
