The Biden administration also will be publishing \u201cmodel red flag legislation\u201d for states to consider. This comes just a couple of weeks after the Biden administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-admin-presses-supreme-court-to-let-police-enter-homes-without-a-warrant-and-seize-firearms-report\">urged<\/a> the Supreme Court to uphold a warrantless gun confiscation case.<\/p>\n<p>White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/psaki-on-biden-cracking-down-on-second-amendment-rights-this-is-only-the-beginning-more-is-coming\">said<\/a> following Biden\u2019s press conference that the president\u2019s actions were his \u201cinitial actions,\u201d that there \u201cwill be more,\u201d and that he intends to \u201cuse the power of his presidency\u201d to crack down on Americans\u2019 constitutionally protected Second Amendment rights.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous governors immediately pushed back on Biden\u2019s attack on Second Amendment rights and indicated that they will be taking action to protect their residents from Biden\u2019s agenda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden is threatening our 2nd Amendment rights. He just announced a new liberal power grab to take away our guns,\u201d Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GregAbbott_TX\/status\/1380200140439498754\">wrote<\/a> on Twitter. \u201cWe will NOT allow this in TX. It\u2019s time to get legislation making TX a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary State passed and to my desk for signing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy (R) said that Biden\u2019s actions \u201cwon\u2019t save lives or stop criminals,\u201d and would only \u201cdisarm law abiding citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlaska is a Second Amendment sanctuary state, and we will be evaluating our options,\u201d Dunleavy <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovDunleavy\/status\/1380252138102644738\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s out of control and it\u2019s obvious that they can\u2019t get it through Congress and so he\u2019s acting on his own,\u201d Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GregAbbott_TX\/status\/1380200140439498754\">said<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s doing it at a rapid speed. There has not been another president, I don\u2019t think, in history that has implemented the number of Executive Orders that this president has implemented. And the hypocrisy of running as a uniter and a president that was going to bring both parties together and heal this country, he has done anything but that. He is continuing to divide the country and he\u2019s doing it through these outlandish Executive Orders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/govkristinoem\/status\/1380195658527744000\">highlighted<\/a> the portion of the Second Amendment that states \u201cshall not be infringed,\u201d writing: \u201cBiden claims that his actions won\u2019t infringe on the 2nd Amendment. That\u2019s false.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTaking away guns with Red Flag laws is an infringement,\u201d Noem continued. \u201cPlacing new limits on firearms sales is an infringement. Curbing ammo purchases is an infringement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Idaho Governor Brad Little (R) said that the state will be standing up for its residents\u2019 Second Amendment rights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIdaho will not stand for President Biden\u2019s unilateral actions to erode your Second Amendment rights,\u201d Little <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovernorLittle\/status\/1380269776698667008\">said<\/a>. \u201cIdaho\u2019s Congressional delegation and I are in lockstep in our opposition to the President\u2019s actions and his direction to Congress to strip law-abiding Americans of their constitutional right to keep and bear arms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><i><span>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
