According to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/people-dead-including-children-south-carolina-mass-shooting\/story?id=76939913\">reports<\/a> Thursday, retired cornerback Phillip Adams shot Dr. Robert Lesslie at the doctor\u2019s home in Rock Hill on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor and his wife Barbara died at the scene Wednesday along with two of their grandchildren as well as a fifth person who had been working at the home. A sixth victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Adams later turned the gun on himself. The search for the suspect ended after several hours when he was found dead at his own home.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have found the person we believe is responsible and we are with them at this time,\u201d confirmed Trent Faris of the York County Sheriff\u2019s Office. \u201cAnd that\u2019s all I can say about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I haven&#8217;t seen this mass shooting mentioned in broadcast &amp; mainstream press: <\/p>\n<p>This week, a gunman shot six people in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
