He falsely claimed the calls to investigate his business dealings overseas were \u201cillegitimate\u201d despite the existence of material evidence suggesting money laundering and abuse of his father\u2019s office as vice president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t fully comprehend the level to which this former administration and the people around it would go,\u201d Hunter claimed.<\/p>\n<p>He also failed to explain why he was taking large sums of money from Ukraine, the Kremlin and China.
