It includes their phone numbers, Facebook IDs, full names, locations, birthdates, bios, and \u2014 in some cases \u2014 email addresses,\u201d Business Insider <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/stolen-data-of-533-million-facebook-users-leaked-online-2021-4\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cInsider reviewed a sample of the leaked data and verified several records by matching known Facebook users\u2019 phone numbers with the IDs listed in the data set,\u201d the report continued. \u201cWe also verified records by testing email addresses from the data set in Facebook\u2019s password reset feature, which can be used to partially reveal a user\u2019s phone number.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span>According to a Facebook spokesperson, the data was scraped due to a vulnerability that was fixed in 2019. The data was previously leaked, and has now been made widely available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Liz Bourgeois, who works in Facebook\u2019s Communications department, and lists \u201cformerly @TheDemocrats and @SpeakerPelosi\u201d in her Twitter bio, tweeted on Saturday, \u201cThis is old data that was previously reported on in 2019.
