Police shot and killed Green. One police officer, Billiy Evans, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/capitol-police-identifies-officer-killed-following-car-attack\">was killed<\/a> in the attack.<\/p>\n<p>Green\u2019s Facebook page, which has since been deleted, described himself as a \u201cfollower of Farrakhan,\u201d The Daily Wire reported. From The Daily Wire:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"28\">\n<p><em>Long posts detailed Green\u2019s life struggles and religious views, which include his belief that Farrakhan is Jesus. \u201cI am currently now unemployed after I left my job partly due to afflictions, but ultimately, in search of a spiritual journey,\u201d he wrote in part.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI haven\u2019t had much to lean on in the past few months,\u201d Green continued. \u201cI\u2019ve been faced with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, and diminution of fruit. My faith is one of the only things that has been able to carry me through these times and my faith is centered on the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as Jesus, the Messiah, the final divine reminder in our midst.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Green went on to describe Farrakhan as his \u201cspiritual father,\u201d without whose guidance he would have \u201cbeen unable to continue.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He signed his post as Noah X.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As The Daily Wire\u2019s Ian Haworth reported on Saturday, numerous verified Twitter accounts initially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/twitter-blue-checks-rush-to-assume-capitol-attack-suspect-was-a-white-trump-supporter-theres-just-one-problem\">rushed to assume<\/a> the attack was carried out by a white supporter of former President Donald Trump. Once the suspect\u2019s identity was released, many of these same people <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/ilhan-omar-other-leftists-distract-from-capitol-attack-by-focusing-on-gun-control-and-racism\">started<\/a> talking about gun control and alleged systemic racism, allowing the Capitol attack to disappear from the news cycle.<\/p>\n<p>The same tactic was used by the Left after a shooting at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, which left 10 people dead, including a police officer. As The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/media-activists-assumed-colorado-shooter-was-white-delete-posts-pivot-when-his-identity-revealed\">reported<\/a> at the time, numerous verified Twitter accounts reported, without evidence, that the shooter must be a \u201cwhite supremacist\u201d before deleting their tweets when the shooter\u2019s identity was revealed. In that case, the shooter was shown to be of Syrian descent but who spent most of his life in the United States. The shooter in that case was previously \u201cknown to the FBI,\u201d though the motive behind the shooting appears to have more to do with mental illness than anything else.<\/p>\n<p>Just as with the recent Capitol attack, media outlets and Democrats shifted the narrative to discuss gun-control measures instead of the attack itself.<\/p>\n<p>Rep.
