We have designated the incident under our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/communitystandards\/dangerous_individuals_organizations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy<\/a>, which means we have removed the suspect\u2019s accounts from Facebook and Instagram, and are removing any content that praises, supports, or represents the attack or the suspect. We are in contact with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the policy the spokesperson cited, Facebook does not allow anyone, living or dead, to maintain a presence on the platform if they are a mass murderer or if they attempt mass murder. \u201cWe consider an attempted mass murder to be one where an individual uses a weapon or vehicle to attempt mass harm in a public space or against more than one person,\u201d the policy says.<\/p>\n<p>As The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-capitol-attack-suspect-identified-claimed-to-be-follower-of-farrakhan-admired-malcolm-x\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">noted<\/a>, MSNBC\u2019s Jesse Rodriguez tweeted reporting from NBC\u2019s Pete Williams about Green\u2019s identity at 3:43 p.m. Journalists Ian Miles Cheong and Andy Ngo scoured Green\u2019s Facebook page almost immediately, taking screenshots and posting them to Twitter until 4:15 p.m., by which time Cheong reported that the page was gone. \u201cFacebook just confirmed the identity of Noah Green by yeeting his page,\u201d Cheong wrote. \u201cIt\u2019s gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To \u201cyeet\u201d something is a slang term that means \u201cto discard an item at high velocity,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbandictionary.com\/define.php?term=Yeet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Urban Dictionary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"7.1937984496124\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Facebook just confirmed the identity of Noah Green by yeeting his page. He was living in Norfolk, Va. From what I saw, many of his posts were of a religious (Islamic) nature. He appeared to be a deeply devout follower of the Nation of Islam &amp; went by the name, \u2018Noah X.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"14.38679245283\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I only had seconds to look at Noah Green&#8217;s Facebook page before it was deleted. As The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-capitol-attack-suspect-identified-claimed-to-be-follower-of-farrakhan-admired-malcolm-x\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"44\">\n<p><em>Long posts detailed Green\u2019s life struggles and religious views, which include his belief that Farrakhan is Jesus. \u201cI am currently now unemployed after I left my job partly due to afflictions, but ultimately, in search of a spiritual journey,\u201d he wrote in part.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI haven\u2019t had much to lean on in the past few months,\u201d Green continued. \u201cI\u2019ve been faced with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, and diminution of fruit. My faith is one of the only things that has been able to carry me through these times and my faith is centered on the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as Jesus, the Messiah, the final divine reminder in our midst.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Green went on to describe Farrakhan as his \u201cspiritual father,\u201d without whose guidance he would have \u201cbeen unable to continue.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He signed his post as Noah X.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In another post, Green encouraged his readers to study the Book of Revelation regarding signs of the end times. \u201c[S]tudy who the beast is, study who the anti-Christ is, study who the false prophet is, and study the created images during these times.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Minister is here to save me and the rest of humanity, even it means facing death,\u201d Green continued. \u201cBe willing to deny yourself and follow him, pick up your cross.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Green died on Good Friday.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee said in a press conference Friday afternoon, before reports emerged identifying the suspect, that the attack did not appear terrorism-related.
