Biden has repeated falsehoods about the Georgia election bill, falsely claiming that it ends voting hours early, when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2021\/03\/30\/biden-falsely-claims-new-georgia-law-ends-voting-hours-early\/\">fact checkers<\/a> say that it does not and that it actually helps to \u201cexpand the opportunities to vote for most Georgians, not limit them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The New York Times even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/04\/03\/upshot\/georgia-election-law-turnout.html?smtyp=cur&amp;smid=tw-nytimes\">admitted<\/a> on Saturday that the law\u2019s voting provisions \u201care unlikely to significantly affect turnout or Democratic chances\u201d and could even \u201cincrease turnout.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former President Donald Trump, a Republican, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-trump-calls-for-boycotting-major-league-baseball-after-they-cave-to-radical-left-democrats\">slammed<\/a> MLB for its decision to boycott the state and encouraged Americans to boycott the league and other woke companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBaseball is already losing tremendous numbers of fans, and now they leave Atlanta with their All-Star Game because they are afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter I.D., which is desperately needed, to have anything to do with our elections,\u201d Trump said in a statement. \u201cBoycott baseball and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair Elections. Are you listening Coke, Delta, and all!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many critics blamed Democrats\u2014specifically Biden and far-left activist Stacy Abrams\u2014for MLB\u2019s decision to dump Atlanta. Abrams praised MLB, saying she was \u201cproud of their stance\u201d on political issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, @MLB caved to fear, political opportunism, and liberal lies,\u201d Governor Brian Kemp said in a statement. \u201cGeorgians \u2013 and all Americans \u2013 should fully understand what the MLB\u2019s knee-jerk decision means: cancel culture and woke political activists are coming for every aspect of your life, sports included. If the left doesn\u2019t agree with you, facts and the truth do not matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis attack on our state is the direct result of repeated lies from Joe Biden and Stacey Abrams about a bill that expands access to the ballot box and ensures the integrity of our elections,\u201d Kemp continued. \u201cI will not back down. Georgians will not be bullied. We will continue to stand up for secure, accessible, fair elections.
