During a press appearance Friday, Biden touted the March jobs report and the falling unemployment rate.<\/p>\n<p>When pressed on raising taxes on corporate America and the highest earners in the country, Biden doubled down by saying it\u2019s necessary to bring the U.S. economy out of the pandemic slump.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Current Biden administration strategy to pass massive new spending bills works this way: First, find a cause nearly everyone supports, i.e. \u201cCovid relief,\u201d or \u201cinfrastructure.\u201d Then shovel tons of unrelated stuff into bills with those names and hope most people don\u2019t catch on.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Brit Hume (@brithume) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/brithume\/status\/1378009951155683329?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 2, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAsking corporate America to pay their fair share will not slow the economy at all,\u201d Biden claimed. \u201cIt will make the economy function better and create more energy.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">My advice to the Administration: If you want to do an infrastructure bill, let&#8217;s do an infrastructure bill.<\/p>\n<p>Before the pandemic, we had the best economy in 50 years.
