While detaining Floyd, Chauvin kneeled on Floyd\u2019s neck for nearly nine minutes,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/george-floyds-girlfriend-floyd-hospitalized-for-overdose-months-earlier-drug-dealer-with-him-during-arrest\">The Daily Wire<\/a> noted Thursday. \u201cChauvin\u2019s attorneys argue that Floyd\u2019s drug use was a crucial factor in his death.
