According to the email, COVID-19 tests are \u201cnot required,\u201d though deployment status will place an employee in the CDC\u2019s Category 1B for obtaining a vaccine.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usajobs.gov\/GetJob\/ViewDetails\/596318100\"><span>job posting<\/span><\/a><span> for federal employees, this opportunity is available to other agencies outside of the EPA.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>HHS did not respond to requests for comment in time for publication.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The volunteer opportunity requires employees to travel to Dallas for \u201cin-processing, training, issuance of equipment,\u201d and more. Trained employees will then be deployed to various facilities along the border, specifically, San Antonio, and San Diego.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The San Diego Convention Center is currently being used to house minor immigrants because of the dramatic influx of children arriving at the border. Many of them are being <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/san-diego-teachers-provide-in-person-learning-to-migrant-children-while-residents-remain-online\"><span>offered<\/span><\/a><span> in-person education services.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cEmployees will work in 12-hour shifts conducting service intake interviews, connecting children to family members and sponsors, and performing other related work,\u201d the email reads.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Deployment of unrelated federal employees to the southern border comes as the Biden administration <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2021\/03\/22\/biden-border-czar-roberta-jacobson-goes-mexico-discuss-migration\/4799428001\/\"><span>maintains<\/span><\/a><span> that there is no \u201ccrisis\u201d at the border. Meanwhile, rogue journalists are uncovering the problematic elements of the Biden administration\u2019s response to the surge of migrants.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Daily Wire <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-secretly-recorded-video-reportedly-shows-migrant-children-held-under-bridge-at-makeshift-cbp-processing-center\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"14\">\n<p><i><span>Secretly recorded video obtained by Project Veritas reportedly shows migrants, including children, being held under a bridge in a \u201cmakeshift\u201d processing center for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP). <\/span><\/i><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span>According to a report from the undercover journalist group, an insider secretly recorded footage under the Anzalduas International Bridge \u201cin an effort to illustrate the inhumane conditions illegal immigrants \u2014 many of them minors \u2014 face while in custody.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>The border influx has brought with it a surge of human smugglers as well.
