Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) is pushing back on the Biden administration\u2019s plans for mass vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>When asked if he plans on getting the COVID-19 vaccine, DeSantis said there\u2019s no need to get vaccinated in public for everyone to see.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not sure we\u2019re gonna do it on camera, I mean we\u2019ll see,\u201d DeSantis said. \u201cI mean, if you guys want a gun show maybe we could do it, but probably better off not.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) plans to get the vaccine this week: &#8220;I&#8217;m not sure we&#8217;re gonna do it on camera. I mean, if you guys want a gun show\u2026&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vjivWdfJvs\">pic.twitter.com\/vjivWdfJvs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Recount (@therecount) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/therecount\/status\/1377306496032198660?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 31, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DeSantis said vaccinations must remain voluntary and it is a private matter for each individual to decide whether they want to get one and how to do it. The governor also said Biden\u2019s push for vaccine passports and the segregation of non-vaccinated people is illegal and violates human rights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith these vaccine passports, it\u2019s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society,\u201d DeSantis stated. \u201cWe\u2019re not supportive of that.
