On this day, the U.S. honors the over three million Americans who served in the conflict and the nearly 60,000 who perished in the war.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On March 29, 1973 the last U.S. combat troops left Vietnam. And for God\u2019s sake, don\u2019t be afraid to talk about it.
