She believes his struggles with identity are rooted in being bullied for having been smaller than other boys. She noted that Jeremy, now 17, has newfound popularity with his peers after coming out as trans.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy nevertheless continues to suffer from anxiety and severe depression, Danae said, and he has been hospitalized for threatening suicide. Jeremy remains adamant that he will begin hormone replacement therapy when he goes to college, despite threats from his parents that they will cut off financial support.<\/p>\n<p>A Catholic, Danae said she struggles with anger toward God for what her family is suffering.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI pray a lot at night. And there are nights where I\u2019m angry,\u201d she said.&nbsp;\u201cI feel bad because there are nights where I have so much anger in my heart. It\u2019s no longer praying, but yelling and questioning: Is this all for naught?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re up against the whole culture, and it\u2019s a losing battle,\u201d she added. \u201cWe\u2019re up against other parents and a culture that tells us that nothing matters anymore, that it\u2019s only about how a person feels. The parents [who object to gender-transitioning of their children] are being demonized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know my God doesn\u2019t make mistakes when He\u2019s forming children,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s demonic. And there\u2019s a devil out there, and the devil, right now, with our culture, is winning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe Medical Industry Is Devouring And Grooming Our Boys\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another mother from the online group, whom CP called Paulina Hinson, has a son named Kevin who identifies as a transgender lesbian who expressed his intention to transition at 15. Kevin, his mother noted, is very intelligent and struggled to relate socially to other boys growing up.<\/p>\n<p>High intelligence is seemingly a common trait among the trans-identifying sons of the mothers they interviewed, CP observed, with many also falling along the autistic spectrum or suffering from other issues such as ADHD. \u201cEvery one of their kids has mental health issues,\u201d one of the mothers said of the others in the group. \u201cMost of them are autistic. High-functioning Asperger\u2019s, that kind of stuff \u2026 This whole understanding of the world, it\u2019s a subculture I had no idea existed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paulina, who struggled to conceive, said she was particularly grieved that such profound confusion should afflict her only son.&nbsp;\u201cAll I ever wanted was to be a mom and for this to happen to my only child is just devastating,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Paulina is particularly disgusted with Planned Parenthood, which has turned trans-identifying kids into a \u201ccash cow,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abigailshrier.substack.com\/p\/inside-planned-parenthoods-gender\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a former worker at one of their clinics<\/a> who spoke to journalist Abigail Shrier.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI used to think they were good in that they helped low-income women get medical services,\u201d Paulina said. \u201cBut now they\u2019re not doing that. And all the organizations, even the places that used to help people with AIDS, now it\u2019s all about trans. Any LGBT group \u2026 it\u2019s all about trans. All these places made a deal with the devil, and I have to hope that it comes back to bite them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paulina warned adults online are grooming children with underlying mental health issues and sexual confusion to believe they are trans. \u201cThe answer that these kids are getting is that there is something wrong with them [their body] and that the solution is that they are trans,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re being told a lie \u2026 The medical industry is devouring and grooming our boys to be medicalized for life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cReally Scary, Scary World\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paulina also discerned a political element to the destruction of the family that the trans movement poses. As The Christian Post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianpost.com\/news\/they-are-devouring-our-sons-moms-of-gender-confused-boys-detail.html?page=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"23\">\n<p><em>\u201cThey are confusing kids. They\u2019re ruining families. You thought you could have a child and make a difference,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s like they\u2019re taking away the core of a family. And I look at everyone who is having a child, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Don\u2019t do it,\u2019 because you have no control over your child. Parental rights have been taken away. The schools are complicit in pushing this agenda.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>She recalled reading about Communist Chinese Chairman Mao Zedong\u2019s rulership and how under his reign, children were instructed to turn on their parents and rupture the family structure.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI feel like that\u2019s what\u2019s happening. It used to be a world where the parents had control. But it\u2019s all taken away from us because our kid can complain to the school, and social services would be called because we\u2019re not affirming them in this lie. We could lose custody. That\u2019s a really scary, scary world we\u2019re in.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/dr-rachel-levine-becomes-first-openly-transgender-federal-official-confirmed-by-senate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recent appointment<\/a> of transgender Dr. Rachel Levine to the position of assistant Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary has renewed scrutiny on the ability of government to bypass parental consent regarding sex changes for minors.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) faced accusations of bigotry during Levine\u2019s confirmation hearing last month <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/very-complex-dr-rachel-levine-dodges-sen-pauls-question-about-sex-changes-for-children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">for asking<\/a> if Levine supported giving puberty blockers and sex-change surgeries to children against the wishes of their parents.
