Ted Cruz (R-TX) shared a video on Sunday of a woman who he identified as a \u201csenior adviser\u201d attempting to block him from taking photos of migrants who were being detained in an overcrowded U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility in Donna, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe sent a photographer along to document it, but he was banned,\u201d Fox News host Maria Bartiromo said. \u201cHe was told, you\u2019re not coming. When the senators tried to take cell phone pictures and videos, they too were hassled. Texas Senator Ted Cruz recorded a confrontation he had with a Biden handler sent by DHS to stop them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cruz tweeted out footage of the heated exchange that he had with the alleged Biden official, who repeatedly positioned herself to stand in front of Cruz while Cruz was attempting to record what was going on. The alleged Biden official repeatedly barked at Cruz to \u201cgive the people dignity and respect,\u201d to which Cruz responded by pointing out that what the Biden administration was doing to the migrants was not treating the migrants with dignity and respect.<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"11.567493112948\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">UNREAL.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. They\u2019re not six feet apart. They\u2019re not three feet apart. They\u2019re not even six inches apart. They\u2019re lying on the floor. There are no beds. They\u2019re lying on the floor side by side. They\u2019re covered with aluminum foil emergency blankets,\u201d Cruz said. \u201cAnd in that facility, the children there are testing positive for COVID at roughly a 10 percent rate. So, they\u2019re locking them in these cages where COVID in a pandemic is a real risk. It is inhumane. It is unconscionable. And it\u2019s the direct result of the political decisions that Joe Biden has made.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is nothing humane about what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are doing at the border,\u201d Cruz later added. \u201cThey\u2019re subjecting kids to horrific abuse. They\u2019re endangering their lives in a pandemic by keeping them locked up in cages right on top of each other. And then they\u2019re releasing illegal aliens into the United States who are testing positive for COVID at a rate seven times higher than the U.S. population.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cruz also highlighted the actions that the Biden administration has taken that he said have contributed to causing the current crisis to unfold.
