Joe Manchin\u2019s (D-W.Va.) wife to help lead a federal panel tasked with increasing investment in the Appalachian Region.<\/p>\n<p>The White House announced Gayle Manchin\u2019s nomination to co-chair the Appalachian Regional Commission on Friday.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">President Biden is nominating Gayle Manchin, Sen.
