Both women claim Maxwell groomed them as teenagers to be Epstein\u2019s sex slaves.<\/p>\n<p>Sigrid McCawley, an attorney at the law firm, wrote in the motion that Maxwell\u2019s requests were \u201coverbroad\u201d and amounted to a \u201cfishing expedition\u201d to obtain personal information about the accusers in an effort to smear them, the Post reported.<\/p>\n<p>The cowboy boots, Maxwell\u2019s attorneys said, were bought by her and Epstein for Farmer when she flew to the wealthy pedophile\u2019s New Mexico ranch \u2013 where she was allegedly abused. As for the photo, it is unclear why an original is requested, but Giuffre has claimed she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was only 17. Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/prince-andrew-says-his-tendency-to-be-too-honorable-made-him-pal-around-with-jeffrey-epstein\">claiming<\/a> in a BBC interview that he had \u201cno recollection of ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One other request Maxwell\u2019s included in the motion was for copies of \u201call recent communication between the firm and law enforcement about Epstein pal Jean-Luc Brunel, a model scout who is being probed in Paris for the alleged sex trafficking of minors,\u201d the Post reported. \u201cMaxwell\u2019s defense team has accused the high-powered legal firm of improperly sharing information with prosecutors from the Southern District of New York to build a criminal case against her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her and remains in prison at the Metropolitan Detention Center after three separate motions for bail have been denied.<\/p>\n<p>While in prison, Maxwell has lodged several complaints about her treatment, the most recent of which includes a claim that she was physically abused during a pat-down search in her cell. Maxwell\u2019s attorney, Bobbi Sternheim, claimed in the letter that Maxwell asked that a surveillance camera record the pat-down but was refused, The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/m\/news\/ghislaine-maxwell-now-accusing-prison-guard-of-abuse\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Ms. Maxwell recoiled in pain and when she said she would report the mistreatment, she was threatened with disciplinary action,\u201d Sternheim claimed in the letter.<\/p>\n<p>In December, Maxwell claimed she was losing weight and her hair while in prison, The Daily Wire previously&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/ghislaine-maxwell-reportedly-losing-her-hair-weight-in-prison\">reported<\/a>. This complaint was also lodged in a letter from Sternheim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile [Maxwell\u2019s] weight may currently be fairly consistent, she had lost over 15 pounds, and she is sustaining hair loss,\u201d the attorney wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Sternheim wrote the letter in response to the federal Bureau of Prisons\u2019 own letter to U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan, in which it wrote that Maxwell is being properly cared for and that she is of a healthy weight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince Ms. Maxwell\u2019s arrival, she has been provided three meals a day in accordance with BOP policy and its National Menu,\u201d Sophia Papapetru, a staff attorney for the prison, wrote in the letter defending Maxwell\u2019s care,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/federal-bureau-of-prisons-defends-ghislaine-maxwells-jail-conditions\">obtained<\/a>&nbsp;by Fox News. \u201cHer medical records show that she currently weighs 134 pounds, which fluctuates plus or minus 2 pounds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
